Travel Itinerary to Bartolome Island
The tour begins at 6:00 or 07:00 in the morning. A bus with a guide will pass through each of the
hotels
and accommodations to pick up passengers for the tour or the meeting point will be indicated.
After a 40-minute trip you reach the
Canal Itabaca. There the passengers will embark on the yacht that will take
you to Bartolomé Island.
Upon reaching the island, you will climb some stairs to the top. On the way you
can see the different volcanic formations, types of soil and vegetation, and once you reach the
viewpoint you can admire its two beaches and the Pinnacle.
Taking a picture with the landscape is a must.
Then the captain will give the order to visit a beach, these can be: Sullivan Bay, Playa
Dorada or another beach. Snorkeling activity is carried out, here you can see sea
lions, sea
turtles, white tip sharks,
fish and sometimes penguins.
After snorkeling, the ship's crew will be waiting for you with lunch that will be served
in the
yacht's food area. Finally you will be transferred to the Itabaca Channel and
by bus to Puerto Ayora, leaving each passenger in their respective accommodation.
