Travel Itinerary of The El Junco Lagoon Tour

The tour begins from the hotel, our staff will pick up you with a transport that transfer you to the highland of The Cristobal Island.

The first visiting point is the El Junco Lagoon which is the extinct volcano with full water, besides, it has a beautiful landscape with a hole endemic vegetation. There are the fragatas birds and a refreshing sweet water from the raining. To arrive to this lagoon you should walk to the destine and return at the same point 2 km by a path with wonderful plants called Miconia with a rare green and red color, giving happiness to the landscape. Over the branches live the finches.

Then, you’ll visit the Tortoises Breeding Center of Galapagos called “David Rodriguez”, here you can appreciate the effort made by Galapagos National Park to preserve the giant tortoises, you’ll look them from the neonats, youngs and adults.

Finally, our staff’ll bring you to know one of the most beautiful beaches of San Cristobal called Puerto Chino, on the path you’ll find a dry forest with a hole of opuntias, thorns and a salt mount. Here you’ll take a rest on this beautiful beach with white sand, enjoying the landscape and seeing a diversity of sea lions that are resting on the beach.
